Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Merinos JK's Doğa Çalkın started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mardin's Arif Çelebi Yertan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Mardin from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute, Doğa Çalkın got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arif Çelebi Yertan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferhat Yazargil in the 12th minute of play. Abay Temizkanoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasan Can Şehzade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Necip Fazıl Levent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Arif Çelebi Yertan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Doğa Çalkın notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Mardin's Arif Çelebi Yertan. Arif Çelebi Yertan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute, Necip Fazıl Levent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferhat Yazargil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the game, Ferhat Yazargil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merinos JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mardin the free kick. In the 43rd match minute, Merinos JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferhat Yazargil to maneuver through the defense. Merinos JK's Abay Temizkanoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Songurhan Çile in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Çakır Ruşeni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arif Çelebi Yertan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doğa Çalkın in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Necip Fazıl Levent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hasan Can Şehzade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Abay Temizkanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes in the game, Songurhan Çile fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Abay Temizkanoğlu having to interfere. In the 64th minute Songurhan Çile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abay Temizkanoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes Merinos JK got a freekick which was hit by Yusuf Ziya Tosunoğlu. Abay Temizkanoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Songurhan Çile in the 79th minute of the match. Hasan Can Şehzade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Merinos JK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! Doğa Çalkın hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 97 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Merinos JK's Doğa Çalkın fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Ferhat Yazargil took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arif Çelebi Yertan. Arif Çelebi Yertan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1.
