Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gürpinar's Mustafa Namık Nasuh started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hayrettin Bican received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Nazım Ulukut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hayrettin Bican got free with Nazım Ulukut in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sütlüce:s Nazım Ulukut showed great skill when he stopped Erbatur Sena:s penalty. Arif Gaffar Cansal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hayrettin Bican sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Şükrü Hirfet hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. When Gökhun Yaygır fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sütlüce's protests and gave Gökhun Yaygır a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gürpinar booed when Sütlüce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökhun Yaygır didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erbatur Sena, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Gürpinar's goal looked a bit too open when Orhan Veli İslamoğlu came free, but Muammer Erez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Erbatur Sena fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gürpinar's protests and gave Erbatur Sena a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gürpinar fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! Hayrettin Bican received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Nazım Ulukut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mustafa Namık Nasuh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nazım Ulukut having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orhan Veli İslamoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Muammer Erez was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hasan Can Oyman. 61 minutes into the match, Gürpinar's goal looked a bit too open when Orhan Veli İslamoğlu came free, but Muammer Erez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Erbatur Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Muammer Erez made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Mustafa Namık Songün sent off a good shot on target. Arif Gaffar Cansal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Muammer Erez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Orhan Veli İslamoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 played minutes Gürpinar got a freekick which was hit by Talat Ersayın. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arif Gaffar Cansal got free with Muammer Erez in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Orkun Hataylı's late challenge caught a Sütlüce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orkun Hataylı helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Gürpinar got a freekick which was hit by Orkun Hataylı. Gürpinar's Muammer Erez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Gürpinar from getting a goal against them. Mustafa Namık Nasuh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nazım Ulukut having to interfere. Nazım Ulukut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayrettin Bican in the 96th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, one of Sütlüce:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sütlüce. The referee gave Gürpinar a penalty, 99 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Erbatur Sena, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sütlüce's Nazım Ulukut. 3-1. Gürpinar's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
