Gencalp Özyay came out of the goal and Mustafa Namık Nasuh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute, Hayrettin Bican got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Urla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Namık Nasuh came free, but Gencalp Özyay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hayrettin Bican came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Gürpinar fans jumped to their feet. The tension between the Gürpinar and the Urla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mustafa Namık Nasuh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gencalp Özyay having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Ali Vedat Uruk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
