In the 28th minute Serkan Tacal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genco Eygül saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Ormanlı Spor Kulübü's Erdoğan Yorgun got control of the ball when Halis Uyguner tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göktuğ Sanal in the 32nd minute of play forced Sultandagi's goalkeeper Genco Eygül to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sultandagi's Genco Eygül played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göktuğ Sanal in the 35th minute of play. Erdoğan Yorgun made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Halis Uyguner sent off a good shot on target. Erdoğan Yorgun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asım Tümkut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ormanlı Spor Kulübü's Erdoğan Yorgun got control of the ball when Halis Uyguner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sultandagi were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Ormanlı Spor Kulübü's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Melik Hafi took the corner. After taking down the ball on Sultandagi's corner Melik Hafi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erdoğan Yorgun quite easily take care of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Erdoğan Yorgun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asım Tümkut in the 58th minute of the match. Asım Tümkut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erdoğan Yorgun having to interfere. But to his dismay, Halis Uyguner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hilmi Tenzil's late challenge caught a Sultandagi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hilmi Tenzil helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, Ormanlı Spor Kulübü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilmi Tenzil to maneuver through the defense. Halis Uyguner might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erdoğan Yorgun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Halis Uyguner ran back to his position shaking his head. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ormanlı Spor Kulübü! Halis Uyguner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erdoğan Yorgun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
