An unexpectedly hard shot by Neşat Masum in the 5th minute of play forced Gültepe's goalkeeper Hüseyin Cansal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Arif Egemen Baytüzün ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gazanfer Özcan Uygur was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 10 minutes, Neşat Masum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bahcelievler JK and the Gültepe players grew even worse after the yellow card. Neşat Masum hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Gazanfer Özcan Uygur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Egemen Baytüzün in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Sarp Afşaroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gazanfer Özcan Uygur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Arif Egemen Baytüzün had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arif Egemen Baytüzün received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Gazanfer Özcan Uygur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gültepe's zone, Arın Ferhat İşcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hüseyin Cansal came out of the goal and Arın Ferhat İşcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bahcelievler JK's Neşat Masum got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arın Ferhat İşcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüseyin Cansal having to interfere. Hüseyin Cansal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neşat Masum, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Hüseyin Cansal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neşat Masum in the 31st minute of play. Hüseyin Cansal was a little too slow when Neşat Masum got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Gazanfer Özcan Uygur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Egemen Baytüzün, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Neşat Masum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The attack was good, but when Neşat Masum in the 62nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.
