Hakkı Onur Zaik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After having played for 42 minutes, Mehmet Atasoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yildirim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Atasoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Şensoy Tutkun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Atasoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berat Tanbolat charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Berat Tanbolat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yildirim fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! In the 49th minute there was a penalty for Yüksekova.
