The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Şenel Onuktekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Kutlualp Balatürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Türker Cevan struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Rüknettin Coşkunsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sivrihisar. The supporters of Sivrihisar booed when ESEN UNİTED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökalp Kırman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 played minutes, Sivrihisar's Müfit Kumanbay shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rüknettin Coşkunsu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sivrihisar reached it. In the 14th match minute, ESEN UNİTED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökalp Kırman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seçkin Levent in the 24th minute of play forced ESEN UNİTED's goalkeeper Rüknettin Coşkunsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rüknettin Coşkunsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bilgehan Yağmurdereli in the 27th minute of the match. Seçkin Levent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Rüknettin Coşkunsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rüknettin Coşkunsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seçkin Levent in the 30th minute of play. Türker Cevan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rüknettin Coşkunsu having to interfere. In the 38th minute of the match Seyhun Berksu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kutlualp Balatürk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Şenel Onuktekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Türker Cevan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Şenel Onuktekin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rüknettin Coşkunsu was a little too slow when Türker Cevan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-1. Türker Cevan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rüknettin Coşkunsu having to interfere. Rüknettin Coşkunsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Türker Cevan in the 66th minute of the match. Kutlualp Balatürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nizam Cansal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Türker Cevan in the 79th minute of play forced ESEN UNİTED's goalkeeper Rüknettin Coşkunsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seçkin Levent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, ESEN UNİTED's Şenel Onuktekin got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Seçkin Levent's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rüknettin Coşkunsu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Türker Cevan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rüknettin Coşkunsu. The goal made the score 0-2. Seçkin Levent came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rüknettin Coşkunsu could save by the left post. Nizam Cansal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Kutlualp Balatürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rüknettin Coşkunsu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Seçkin Levent in the 93rd minute. Sivrihisar's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
