In the 34th minute of the match, Selahaddin Eryetiş got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rüknettin Coşkunsu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Selahaddin Eryetiş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rüknettin Coşkunsu made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Selahaddin Eryetiş sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Mardinspor booed when ESEN UNİTED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökalp Kırman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Battal Cüneyt İzzet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rüknettin Coşkunsu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Şenel Onuktekin was the one to do the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Battal Cüneyt İzzet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ESEN UNİTED's Rüknettin Coşkunsu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rüknettin Coşkunsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Battal Cüneyt İzzet, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 55th minute, Battal Cüneyt İzzet made a precise shot to the right of Rüknettin Coşkunsu. ESEN UNİTED's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Selahaddin Eryetiş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rüknettin Coşkunsu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Selahaddin Eryetiş went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 68th minute, Battal Cüneyt İzzet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ESEN UNİTED's Rüknettin Coşkunsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selahaddin Eryetiş in the 71st minute of play. In the 76th minute Şenel Onuktekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şafak Uluer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Battal Cüneyt İzzet in the 80th minute of play forced ESEN UNİTED's goalkeeper Rüknettin Coşkunsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rüknettin Coşkunsu came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Mardinspor's Battal Cüneyt İzzet. But to his dismay, Battal Cüneyt İzzet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Selahaddin Eryetiş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute Battal Cüneyt İzzet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüknettin Coşkunsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Ahmet Çağrı Ergül was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ESEN UNİTED's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mardinspor the free kick. In the 95th minute, Ahmet Çağrı Ergül hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mardinspor walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
