Spectators: 7218 (Terracing: 5415, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hasan Can İlmen kicked off to start the match. Mithat Suphi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 3rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Yiğit Can Zahit. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reşat Şahin during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Reşat Şahin hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute of the match, Ahmet Kutsi Sabuncuoğlu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mithat Suphi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ahmet Kutsi Sabuncuoğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mithat Suphi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Kutsi Sabuncuoğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. Kürşat Rahmet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Kürşat Tunçbay in the 11th minute of play. Burhan Kadrettin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mithat Suphi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Izmirspor's Aktan Hunalp got a free kick in the 19th minute. Hasan Can İlmen hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Okan Alp's late challenge caught a Izmirspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Okan Alp helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th match minute, Kara Harp Okulu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Okan Alp to maneuver through the defense. Abdulmelik Vaha, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hasan Can İlmen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Hasan Can İlmen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Izmirspor's Kürşat Rahmet. Kürşat Rahmet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Ali Kürşat Tunçbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute Hasan Can İlmen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kürşat Rahmet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Izmirspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baran Baturalp to maneuver through the defense. If Ali Kürşat Tunçbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kürşat Rahmet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Kürşat Tunçbay in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Kutsi Sabuncuoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Burhan Kadrettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Kürşat Tunçbay got free with Kürşat Rahmet in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 62 played minutes Izmirspor got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Çağrı Uluöz. Mithat Suphi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burhan Kadrettin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ahmet Kutsi Sabuncuoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Izmirspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Kutsi Sabuncuoğlu couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute, Abdulmelik Vaha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hasan Can İlmen, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 80 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Kürşat Rahmet was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hasan Can İlmen in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kürşat Rahmet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mithat Suphi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burhan Kadrettin in the 86th minute of play. Hasan Can İlmen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Kürşat Rahmet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
