The supporters of FC TAŞKÖPRÜSPOR booed when SULTANGAZİ SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Osman Ermiye didn't get a good kick on the ball. Şensoy Okatan hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Songurhan Ezelhan came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by SULTANGAZİ SK's Sadri Şerafeddin. But to his dismay, Sadri Şerafeddin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Ahmet İlke Tüzer was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of SULTANGAZİ SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC TAŞKÖPRÜSPOR:s goal. The referee gave FC TAŞKÖPRÜSPOR a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Arif Memduh Savaşer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SULTANGAZİ SK's Şener Rukni. 5-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kubilay Bucuk was the one to do the kick off. If Kubilay Bucuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kubilay Bucuk scored 6-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Songurhan Ezelhan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Songurhan Ezelhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güner Çalapover in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match Mehmet Osman Ermiye sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Songurhan Ezelhan skillfully saved the ball. If Kubilay Bucuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gökçen Canalp in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Songurhan Ezelhan saved FC TAŞKÖPRÜSPOR from getting behind. Güner Çalapover fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Songurhan Ezelhan having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, SULTANGAZİ SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kubilay Bucuk to maneuver through the defense. Kubilay Bucuk struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Hıncal Tulum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Güner Çalapover recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rahim Ongunalp came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the SULTANGAZİ SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rahim Ongunalp couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the match, FC TAŞKÖPRÜSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Gökçen Canalp came free, but Songurhan Ezelhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Sadri Şerafeddin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SULTANGAZİ SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. SULTANGAZİ SK's Şener Rukni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerimhan Tunçkılıç in the 89th minute of play. After 92 minutes SULTANGAZİ SK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arif Memduh Savaşer who took care of the corner kick. FC TAŞKÖPRÜSPOR's Arif Memduh Savaşer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Şener Rukni in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 94 minutes into the match, Vedat Girgin notched a goal, 7-2, to the right of SULTANGAZİ SK's Şener Rukni. Şener Rukni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that SULTANGAZİ SK were the better team. SULTANGAZİ SK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
