Abay Uruk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüsamettin Ersoy in the 8th minute of play. Yusuf Topçay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aybars Topuz hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Yusuf Topçay in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abay Uruk, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Yusuf Topçay came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Sinop fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yusuf Topçay couldn't finish the play. If Hüsamettin Ersoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yusuf Topçays short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Abay Uruk to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Yusuf Topçay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sinop's supporters rose to their feet, but Yusuf Topçay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abay Uruk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Hüsamettin Ersoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Sinop defense, Hacı Dilercan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gürel Bedih. The Sinop fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gürel Bedih should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Hüsamettin Ersoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sinop's supporters rose to their feet, but Hüsamettin Ersoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abay Uruk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hüsamettin Ersoy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abay Uruk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Hüsamettin Ersoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abay Uruk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yusuf Topçay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abay Uruk having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Babalar Spor Klübü's goalkeeper Abay Uruk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yusuf Topçay. Hüsamettin Ersoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hüsamettin Ersoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Babalar Spor Klübü's Abay Uruk got control of the ball when Yusuf Topçay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Ahmet Hakan İpekçi hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 54 minutes, Aybars Topuz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Babalar Spor Klübü and the Sinop players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Babalar Spor Klübü's Aybars Topuz got a free kick in the 54th minute. Sinop's Kayacan Sezen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Babalar Spor Klübü. The supporters of Sinop booed when Babalar Spor Klübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kıraç Tunay didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hüsamettin Ersoy in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abay Uruk saved Babalar Spor Klübü from getting behind. Refik Şerif kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Babalar Spor Klübü's zone, Yusuf Topçay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abay Uruk came out of the goal and Yusuf Topçay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hacı Dilercan got free with Gürel Bedih in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Yusuf Topçay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gürel Bedih showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Refik Şerif in the 72nd minute of the match. A collision led to Babalar Spor Klübü getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Aybars Topuz hit a great ball. Yusuf Topçay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Babalar Spor Klübü's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Vefik Refik came free, but Abay Uruk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Mesut Varlık hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 81 minutes, Yusuf Topçay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sinop's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yusuf Topçay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 83 played minutes Babalar Spor Klübü got a freekick which was hit by Aybars Topuz. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yusuf Topçay in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abay Uruk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hüsamettin Ersoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abay Uruk having to interfere. Hüsamettin Ersoy might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abay Uruk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hüsamettin Ersoy ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 89th minute, Yusuf Topçay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abay Uruk was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Tuğrul Dede fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sinop's protests and gave Tuğrul Dede a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sinop's Abdi Nurkan got a free kick in the 95th minute. Sinop were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
