Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Halil İbrahim Ilgın dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abay Uruk, 1-0. Giray Engintalay's late challenge caught a Babalar Spor Klübü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giray Engintalay helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Babalar Spor Klübü booed when Esme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giray Engintalay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Halil İbrahim Ilgın got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esme's Ekber Sabancı got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Babalar Spor Klübü's Abay Uruk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halil İbrahim Ilgın in the 22nd minute of play. Hacı Dilercan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güralp Tuğtaşı having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Esme's Orhan Türköz got a free kick in the 30th minute. Halil İbrahim Ilgın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abay Uruk having to interfere. Ekber Sabancı struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Abay Uruk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esme. Ekber Sabancı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Abay Uruk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abay Uruk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halil İbrahim Ilgın in the 39th minute of play. Ekber Sabancı who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Abay Uruk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 44 minutes into the game, Esme's Ekber Sabancı nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abay Uruk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Abay Uruk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halil İbrahim Ilgın in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Halil İbrahim Ilgın was the one to do the kick off. If Ekber Sabancı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orhan Türköz hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. A hard shot 56 in the game by Hacı Dilercan from a close distance when the talented Güralp Tuğtaşı managed to make a qualified save. Esme's players were relieved. In the 57thth minute of the game Ekber Sabancı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Babalar Spor Klübü's Abay Uruk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abay Uruk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Halil İbrahim Ilgın's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Ekber Sabancı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ekber Sabancı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Abay Uruk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abay Uruk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Halil İbrahim Ilgın, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 101st minute of the match Arif Egemen Gümüşcü shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abay Uruk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the Esme players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
