Spectators: 7088 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hazar Taylan kicked off to start the match. Hadi Ongu hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. A hard and well directed shot from Ziya Bağcıoğlu led 8 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Kocaeli idman yurdu's Yalçın Tancan became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. İsmail Hakkı Rami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hazar Taylan in the 16th minute of play. If Tekin Yastıkcığlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yalçın Tancan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yiğitcan Kartekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kocaeli idman yurdu's Yalçın Tancan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yiğitcan Kartekin in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Kocaeli idman yurdu's goal looked a bit too open when Tekin Yastıkcığlu came free, but Yalçın Tancan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tekin Yastıkcığlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yalçın Tancan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tekin Yastıkcığlu ran back to his position shaking his head. If Yiğitcan Kartekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tekin Yastıkcığlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Alptuğ Yetiş was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Küre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kocaeli idman yurdu the free kick. Tekin Yastıkcığlu struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Yalçın Tancan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Küre. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yiğitcan Kartekin in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yalçın Tancan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Hadi Ongu fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kocaeli idman yurdu's protests and gave Hadi Ongu a yellow card for diving instead. Yalçın Tancan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yiğitcan Kartekin's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yiğitcan Kartekin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tekin Yastıkcığlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yalçın Tancan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Kocaeli idman yurdu getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Batı Ulukaan hit a great ball. Tekin Yastıkcığlu came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Yalçın Tancan could save by the left post. In the 61st match minute, Kocaeli idman yurdu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hadi Ongu to maneuver through the defense. In the 64thth minute of the game Yiğitcan Kartekin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kocaeli idman yurdu's Yalçın Tancan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yalçın Tancan made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Tekin Yastıkcığlu sent off a good shot on target. Tekin Yastıkcığlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yalçın Tancan having to make a save. Hazar Taylan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İsmail Hakkı Rami having to interfere. Hazar Taylan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. İsmail Hakkı Rami tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hazar Taylan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İsmail Hakkı Rami having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, Küre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alptuğ Yetiş to maneuver through the defense. Hazar Taylan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yalçın Tancan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yiğitcan Kartekin in the 96th minute of the match. The Küre supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Küre would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
