In the 9th minute Fırat Akar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mahsun Mahşer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yüce Varan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Mehmet Akif Sargın made a huge save. In the 26th minute of the game Doğuş Soner made a throw-in which Fırat Akar played forward. In the 30th minute Fırat Akar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mahsun Mahşer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 played minutes Sevilla got a freekick which was hit by Baran Onguner. Engin Bilgetürk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mahsun Mahşer. Sevilla's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The long shot by Tayyip Altunışık in the 39th minute really tested Mehmet Akif Sargın's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mehmet Akif Sargın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yüce Varan in the 41st minute of play. If Doğaner Namdar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Yüce Varan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52nd match minute, Sevilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanju Secavend to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the match, Sevilla's goalkeeper Mahsun Mahşer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Güray Sabuncu. If Güray Sabuncu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fırat Akar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Mahsun Mahşer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Fırat Akar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mahsun Mahşer. The goal made the score 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Sem United F.C.'s zone, Yüce Varan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Akif Sargın came out of the goal and Yüce Varan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th match minute, Sevilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baran Onguner to maneuver through the defense. Sem United F.C.'s Mehmet Akif Sargın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yüce Varan in the 82nd minute of play. The Sem United F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sem United F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
