Korkut Ungan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Erdinç Mahçupyan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Hamamözü's Erdinç Mahçupyan got control of the ball when Korkut Ungan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the MetehanBaBa SK defense, Veli Önateş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Avni Çelebioğlu. The MetehanBaBa SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Avni Çelebioğlu should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, MetehanBaBa SK's Korkut Ungan got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 11 played minutes MetehanBaBa SK got a freekick which was hit by Turan Hazar. Talip Kadem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Ahmet Efe Suhan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Avni Çelebioğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the MetehanBaBa SK defense, Veli Önateş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Avni Çelebioğlu. The MetehanBaBa SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Avni Çelebioğlu should have stopped the shot. When Karahan Ülgü came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the MetehanBaBa SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karahan Ülgü couldn't finish the play. Kutlu Cankan kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. MetehanBaBa SK's Avni Çelebioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Talip Kadem in the 45th minute of play. Cahit Beksan kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Talip Kadem got free with Avni Çelebioğlu in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Talip Kadem kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Avni Çelebioğlu. That made the score 0-5 in the 59 minute of play. Erdinç Mahçupyan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korkut Ungan, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Avni Çelebioğlu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ruhi Uğuş showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 67 minute of play. Erdinç Mahçupyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korkut Ungan in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute of the match, Ruhi Uğuş tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Avni Çelebioğlu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Hamamözü's Göksel Sadir got a free kick in the 75th minute. Karahan Ülgü fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erdinç Mahçupyan having to interfere. When MetehanBaBa SK's Karahan Ülgü in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hamamözü's goalie prevented a goal. 81 minutes into the match, Hamamözü's goal looked a bit too open when Cemil İren came free, but Erdinç Mahçupyan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karahan Ülgü sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Veli Önateş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MetehanBaBa SK's Sabahattin İlmen got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute Ruhi Uğuş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avni Çelebioğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of MetehanBaBa SK booed when Hamamözü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Talip Kadem didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Sabahattin İlmen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MetehanBaBa SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabahattin İlmen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karahan Ülgü's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erdinç Mahçupyan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Hamamözü's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
