Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ali Mertoğul got the match started through his kick off. Mustafa Barış Suyurgal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ersan İlkutay in the 3rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Ali Vedat Özdilek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Posof's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Vedat Özdilek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bulut Çevikcan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 5 played minutes Ortaköy got a freekick which was hit by Yağız Şahinter. After a rather tough play, Posof's Erim Canol got a free kick in the 11th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Ali Vedat Özdilek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Posof's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Vedat Özdilek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bulut Çevikcan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute, Vahdet Sakman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20thth minute of the game Ali Mertoğul who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ortaköy's Bulut Çevikcan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mustafa Barış Suyurgal came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Ortaköy's Ersan İlkutay. But to his dismay, Ersan İlkutay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ali Vedat Özdilek hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ortaköy's zone, Ali Vedat Özdilek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bulut Çevikcan came out of the goal and Ali Vedat Özdilek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Mertoğul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Bulut Çevikcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ortaköy's Bulut Çevikcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Mertoğul in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ersan İlkutay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Posof's zone, Ersan İlkutay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Barış Suyurgal came out of the goal and Ersan İlkutay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Mustafa Barış Suyurgal managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Ortaköy's Yağız Şahinter fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Posof! The goalkeeper, Mustafa Barış Suyurgal, was totally fooled by Ortaköy's Sebati Hasankeyf, who 63 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Yağız Şahinter hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Vahdet Sakman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Mustafa Barış Suyurgal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mustafa Barış Suyurgal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vahdet Sakman in the 74th minute. Ersan İlkutay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Mertoğul in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bulut Çevikcan saved Ortaköy from getting behind. 84 minutes into the match, Posof's goal looked a bit too open when Ersan İlkutay came free, but Mustafa Barış Suyurgal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mustafa Barış Suyurgal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vahdet Sakman in the 87th minute. Ali Vedat Özdilek hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The Ortaköy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ortaköy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
