Spectators: 7266 (Terracing: 5451, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Baybora Cerme took the kick off in the first half of the match. Birol Şakir hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Baybora Cerme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catalca SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baybora Cerme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ersan İlkutay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulkadir Zağanos having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Battal Yıldızhan got free with Bulut Çevikcan in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bulut Çevikcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baybora Cerme in the 14th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Ortaköy got a freekick which was hit by Birol Şakir. Battal Yıldızhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Bulut Çevikcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Battal Yıldızhan came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Catalca SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Battal Yıldızhan couldn't finish the play. In the 21st match minute, Ortaköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barbaros İçkin to maneuver through the defense. Battal Yıldızhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Danış Barın hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Vahdet Sakman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdulkadir Zağanos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Catalca SK's Şerif Akın got a free kick in the 34th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Ersan İlkutay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ortaköy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ersan İlkutay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Battal Yıldızhan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ersan İlkutay was the one to do the kick off. Seyhun Uçar hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Vahdet Sakman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baybora Cerme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Bulut Çevikcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ortaköy's zone, Battal Yıldızhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bulut Çevikcan came out of the goal and Battal Yıldızhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Battal Yıldızhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Catalca SK's Baybora Cerme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bulut Çevikcan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 79th minute, Yağız Şahinter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Ortaköy defense, Baybora Cerme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bulut Çevikcan. The Ortaköy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bulut Çevikcan should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd match minute, Ortaköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yağız Şahinter to maneuver through the defense. Catalca SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
