ERDEM SPOR's Yağız Karakaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Başaran Sezgen in the 19th minute of play. Mehmet Akif Yanıker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Gevas JK's Ferhan Üstay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yağız Karakaya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Ferhan Üstay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gevas JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferhan Üstay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yağız Karakaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Başaran Sezgen in the 68th minute of play forced ERDEM SPOR's goalkeeper Yağız Karakaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, ERDEM SPOR's Bedir Özluer got a free kick in the 69th minute. Gevas JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferhan Üstay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Gevas JK's Başaran Sezgen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yağız Karakaya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to ERDEM SPOR getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Naim Uluçam hit a great ball. Mehmet Akif Yanıker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Yağız Karakaya made a huge save. When Serbülent Sabancı fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ERDEM SPOR's protests and gave Serbülent Sabancı a yellow card for diving instead. Serbülent Sabancı kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When Başaran Sezgen came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Gevas JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Başaran Sezgen couldn't finish the play. ERDEM SPOR's Yağız Karakaya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save ERDEM SPOR from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gevas JK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
