Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cemil Korkutalp started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Pozanti's Kandemir Uğurhan got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cemil Korkutalp struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Peyami Yayalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pozanti. Cemil Korkutalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Birdal Cengel got free with Reşat Özil in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Yavuz Değirmencioğlu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Reşat Özil to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gökhan Uzhan was the one to do the kick off. Pozanti's Reşat Özil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Duyar in the 82nd minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Pozanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yaser Yasin to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Pozanti's goal looked a bit too open when Doğuhan İpekdal came free, but Reşat Özil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kandemir Uğurhan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peyami Yayalp having to make a save. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Oltu JK lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
