Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Serter Kutberk started the match with the kick off. Ferit Ceviz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serter Kutberk, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When Ediz Bakanay fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Erdemli JK's protests and gave Ediz Bakanay a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Galatasaray booed when Erdemli JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediz Bakanay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aktan Er in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferit Ceviz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Aktan Er had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Serter Kutberk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aktan Er fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferit Ceviz having to interfere. Serter Kutberk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cüneyt Tuncalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muharrem Oncel in the 32nd minute of play. Erdemli JK's Ferit Ceviz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aktan Er in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Galatasaray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saip Toktamış to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Muharrem Oncel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Muharrem Oncel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Atilla Tarkan Buğdaycı suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 46 minutes, Yüksel Ulubay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galatasaray and the Erdemli JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Yüksel Ulubay hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emir Kılıçaslan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 61 minutes of play, Galatasaray's Serter Kutberk made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferit Ceviz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ali Haydar Behram kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Erdemli JK's goalkeeper Ferit Ceviz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aktan Er. Aktan Er got in the 78th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ferit Ceviz handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Serter Kutberk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferit Ceviz having to interfere. When Galatasaray's Serter Kutberk in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Erdemli JK's goalie prevented a goal. Serter Kutberk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saip Toktamış sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute, Serter Kutberk fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ferit Ceviz, passed just outside the right post.
