Mustafa Arif Perkel succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 8th playminute. Kuddusî Başesgioğlu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 11th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Acar Serbülend. Kuddusî Başesgioğlu made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Eren Topay sent off a good shot on target. Emrah Apaydın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Çorlu Spor getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Cevat Cumali hit a great ball. Cevat Cumali kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Erdem Yılma cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ömer Kafadar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 29 minutes, Özkan Şölen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Çorlu Spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özkan Şölen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cevat Cumali fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Çorlu Spor's protests and gave Cevat Cumali a yellow card for diving instead. Eren Topay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eren Topay did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Kuddusî Başesgioğlu 36 minutes into the match. After 40 played minutes Çorlu Spor got a freekick which was hit by Nizam Saykut. Tuncay Nizam took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kuddusî Başesgioğlu. Kuddusî Başesgioğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Tuncay Nizam might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kuddusî Başesgioğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tuncay Nizam ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tuncay Nizam to strike the kick off in the second half. Kuddusî Başesgioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atay Tanın, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Özkan Şölen charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Özkan Şölen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Tuncay Nizam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kuddusî Başesgioğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Erdem Yılma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Ömer Kafadar made a huge save. After 66 minutes of play, Kirazlıspor's Eren Topay made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kuddusî Başesgioğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Çorlu Spor's Emrah Apaydın got a free kick in the 70th minute. Kuddusî Başesgioğlu came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Kirazlıspor's Eren Topay. But to his dismay, Eren Topay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Atay Tanın managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kirazlıspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Atay Tanın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kuddusî Başesgioğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Çorlu Spor's Kuddusî Başesgioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eren Topay in the 76th minute of play. Kuddusî Başesgioğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tekin Yertan went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. After 80 minutes of play, Kirazlıspor's Tuncay Nizam made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kuddusî Başesgioğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84th minute İlhan Keçeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuddusî Başesgioğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kirazlıspor's Atay Tanın got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eren Topay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Çorlu Spor booed when Kirazlıspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Arif Perkel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kuddusî Başesgioğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İlhan Keçeli in the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Kirazlıspor players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
