The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cihangir Gürgen during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ataköy JK getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Cihangir Gürgen hit a great ball. Abayhan Canfeda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batu Cem Bozyiğit having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Ataköy JK's goal looked a bit too open when Abayhan Canfeda came free, but Batu Cem Bozyiğit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alican Sungun succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 15th playminute. Oğuzalp Ulusu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efe Onursu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Ataköy JK's Efe Onursu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oğuzalp Ulusu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Denizhan Kutlutekin hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alican Sungun got free with Oğuzalp Ulusu in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alican Sungun scored 2-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oğuzalp Ulusu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cankurtaran's Oğuzalp Ulusu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efe Onursu in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armağan Timurtas made a kick off. Armağan Timurtas's late challenge caught a Ataköy JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armağan Timurtas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cankurtaran's Armağan Timurtas got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Batu Cem Bozyiğit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armağan Timurtas, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The supporters of Cankurtaran booed when Ataköy JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Hafiz Kızılaslan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Abayhan Canfeda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cankurtaran's supporters rose to their feet, but Abayhan Canfeda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Batu Cem Bozyiğit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute, Efe Onursu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Efe Onursu came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Ataköy JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efe Onursu couldn't finish the play. Cankurtaran's Oğuzalp Ulusu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efe Onursu in the 68th minute of play. When Cankurtaran's Armağan Timurtas in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Oğuzalp Ulusu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alican Sungun in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efe Onursu in the 93rd minute of play forced Cankurtaran's goalkeeper Oğuzalp Ulusu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alican Sungun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ataköy JK had played much better football throughout.
