Spectators: 6450 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1350, VIP seats: 100) Cankurtaran's Armağan Timurtas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Armağan Timurtas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ahmet Reha Civan. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Fc Sayeban's goal looked a bit too open when Armağan Timurtas came free, but Ahmet Reha Civan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Fc Sayeban's Ahmet Reha Civan got control of the ball when Abayhan Canfeda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arif Babayiğit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oğuzalp Ulusu having to interfere. Behram Nasreddin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oğuzalp Ulusu having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Fc Sayeban got a freekick which was hit by Basri Şanberk. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Arif Babayiğit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Sayeban's supporters rose to their feet, but Arif Babayiğit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oğuzalp Ulusu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Behram Nasreddin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cankurtaran's Oğuzalp Ulusu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Babayiğit in the 32nd minute of play. Ahmet Reha Civan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armağan Timurtas's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After 43 minutes, Ender Tekrim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Sayeban and the Cankurtaran players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Fc Sayeban was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ender Tekrim to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Hakkı Onur Çetin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fc Sayeban's Ahmet Reha Civan didn't even have to move. In the 46th minute Armağan Timurtas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Reha Civan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armağan Timurtas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Reha Civan having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Behram Nasreddin was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ender Tekrim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fc Sayeban were furious when Kandemir Hilal was red carded, 54 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fc Sayeban! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arif Babayiğit during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th match minute, Fc Sayeban was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Babayiğit to maneuver through the defense. Fc Sayeban's Işıkalp Miran suffered a concussion in the 65th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Yaşar Nuri Gökkuşağı's late challenge caught a Fc Sayeban's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yaşar Nuri Gökkuşağı helped the player get up and apologised. Yaşar Nuri Gökkuşağı hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Ahmet Reha Civan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abayhan Canfeda, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The supporters of Fc Sayeban booed when Cankurtaran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armağan Timurtas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Armağan Timurtas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Reha Civan was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Ahmet Reha Civan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abayhan Canfeda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abayhan Canfeda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Reha Civan having to interfere. In the 91st minute Abayhan Canfeda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Reha Civan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ender Tekrim struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Oğuzalp Ulusu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Sayeban. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abayhan Canfeda in the 98th minute of play forced Fc Sayeban's goalkeeper Ahmet Reha Civan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cankurtaran were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Fc Sayeban for a fine match.
