To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patnos's Taner Akağan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Patnos from getting a goal against them. When Turgut Üçer fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patnos's protests and gave Turgut Üçer a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Patnos's Turgut Üçer got a free kick in the 16th minute. Taner Akağan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Özmen Sefa's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. When Özmen Sefa, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 19 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Taner Akağan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Patnos's Hasan Onursoy got a free kick in the 21st minute. With his leg Taner Akağan managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Harmancik's Özmen Sefa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Taner Akağan made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Özmen Sefa sent off a good shot on target. Sarper Özgen might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Güvenç Şenal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sarper Özgen ran back to his position shaking his head. Güvenç Şenal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazhar Baysoy in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Ahmet Ziya Onaran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patnos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harmancik the free kick. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Ahmet Ziya Onaran put in a rough tackle. In the 45th minute, one of Patnos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Patnos. The score was 2-0 after a penalty in the 47th minute, where Harmancik:s Atıf Koyas tricked Patnos:s Taner Akağan with a difficult ball by the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Özmen Sefa to make the kick off. Sarper Özgen hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Harmancik's Atıf Koyas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 54th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Patnos. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Özmen Sefa in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taner Akağan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patnos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atıf Koyas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The Harmancik fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Harmancik's Özmen Sefa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Özmen Sefa in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Taner Akağan saved Patnos from getting behind. Hasan Onursoy charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hasan Onursoy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Patnos's Hasan Onursoy got a free kick in the 74th minute. When Özmen Sefa got free in front of the goal in the 78th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Taner Akağan was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Özmen Sefa took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Taner Akağan. Taner Akağan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0.
