After 2 minutes, Işıkalp Kayrar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the skgalatasaray and the Yesilyurt players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hamit Bircanoğlu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Barbaros Paye showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Alper Oker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yesilyurt's Barbaros Paye got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute Barbaros Paye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamit Bircanoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Barbaros Paye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamit Bircanoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barbaros Paye, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute, Barbaros Arpacı made a precise shot to the right of Göksel Uludağ. Yesilyurt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 38th minute Talat Nebi suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Yahya Kemal Hacıfettahoğlu's late challenge caught a Yesilyurt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alper Oker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Hamit Bircanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Yaser Boğatekin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hamit Bircanoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alper Oker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mehmet Efe Uluğ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind skgalatasaray's goalkeeper Hamit Bircanoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barbaros Arpacı in the 78th minute of play forced Yesilyurt's goalkeeper Göksel Uludağ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Alper Oker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamit Bircanoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, skgalatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Alper Oker came free, but Hamit Bircanoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barbaros Paye might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hamit Bircanoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barbaros Paye ran back to his position shaking his head. Binali Durusoy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Göksel Uludağ made a huge save. Hamit Bircanoğlu came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Yesilyurt's Alper Oker. But to his dismay, Alper Oker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.
