Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Şükrü Uyarel started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Lapseki's goalkeeper Özmen İlker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ekrem Camcıoğlu. Güclükonak's Suphi Ersever played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şükrü Uyarel in the 5th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şükrü Uyarel in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Suphi Ersever saved Güclükonak from getting behind. Gökçek Eraltay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Suphi Ersever having to interfere. Hafız Cangiray kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Lapseki's Gökçek Eraltay got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akil Erincer in the 16th minute of play forced Lapseki's goalkeeper Özmen İlker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Suphi Ersever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökçek Eraltay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Akil Erincer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Özmen İlker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Akil Erincer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Özmen İlker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Ekrem Camcıoğlu in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Özmen İlker, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The long shot by Mehmet Emin Savlet in the 53rd minute really tested Suphi Ersever's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ekrem Camcıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Özmen İlker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Suphi Ersever made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gökçek Eraltay in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute, Şükrü Uyarel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Kamer İlighan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Güclükonak's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lapseki the free kick. A collision led to Güclükonak getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şükrü Uyarel in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Suphi Ersever prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute, Şükrü Uyarel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Suphi Ersever was a little too slow when Ali Asım Necaettin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 0-1.
