Spectators: 5143 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 143) Behçet Özgan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Karpuzlu SK's Turabi Akyol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bektaş Veli Canıtez in the 3rd minute of play. BURSASPOR's Tuğrul Tuncay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save BURSASPOR from getting a goal against them. Gürol Akar charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gürol Akar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Karpuzlu SK got a freekick which was hit by Gürol Akar. A collision led to BURSASPOR getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Uğuralp Başbuğ hit a great ball. Turabi Akyol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samim Aydıntan in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, BURSASPOR's goalkeeper Tuğrul Tuncay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gürol Akar. 21 minutes into the game, Samim Aydıntan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Turabi Akyol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Turabi Akyol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samim Aydıntan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Turabi Akyol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Behçet Özgan, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Behçet Özgan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Turabi Akyol came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by BURSASPOR's Bektaş Veli Canıtez. But to his dismay, Bektaş Veli Canıtez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 34th minute, Bektaş Veli Canıtez made a precise shot to the right of Turabi Akyol. Karpuzlu SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Cabbar Özkutsal made in the 38th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Rahim Geylani however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behçet Özgan in the 40th minute of play forced Karpuzlu SK's goalkeeper Turabi Akyol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şenel Zeynur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuğrul Tuncay having to interfere. BURSASPOR's Bektaş Veli Canıtez got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Turabi Akyol came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by BURSASPOR's Samim Aydıntan. But to his dismay, Samim Aydıntan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Şenel Zeynur made the kick off in the second half. Turabi Akyol made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Bektaş Veli Canıtez sent off a good shot on target. Turabi Akyol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Behçet Özgan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 minutes of play, BURSASPOR's Samim Aydıntan made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Turabi Akyol was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samim Aydıntan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Karpuzlu SK's Ahmet Korcan Karakan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ahmet Korcan Karakan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Karpuzlu SK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ahmet Korcan Karakan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Ahmet Korcan Karakan hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Behçet Özgan from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Turabi Akyol's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 69 minutes into the match, BURSASPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Gürol Akar came free, but Tuğrul Tuncay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tuğrul Tuncay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürol Akar, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Gürol Akar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Uğuralp Başbuğ came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the BURSASPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uğuralp Başbuğ couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the match, Karpuzlu SK's goalkeeper Turabi Akyol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saadettin Uralp. Turabi Akyol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hüsmen Akova in the 87th minute. Babür Altınkaya was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Turabi Akyol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babür Altınkaya in the 88th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Behçet Özgan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bektaş Veli Canıtez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Turabi Akyol made a huge save. Tuğrul Tuncay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürol Akar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Özden Mutlu had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saadettin Uralp during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, BURSASPOR's Saadettin Uralp got a free kick in the 94th minute. Turabi Akyol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Behçet Özgan, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Turabi Akyol was out of position in the 98 minute of play, and Samim Aydıntan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Samim Aydıntan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. When the final whistle sounded BURSASPOR left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Karpuzlu SK.
