ÇILGIN SİVAS SPOR KULÜBÜ's Atilla Bumin Yamanöz got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vedat Ruknettin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kutlualp Balatekin in the 26th minute of the match. ÇILGIN SİVAS SPOR KULÜBÜ's Dinçer Çavas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Engin Okman in the 28th minute of play. Dinçer Çavas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Engin Okman's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After having played for 31 minutes, Engin Okman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerrahpasa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Engin Okman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ÇILGIN SİVAS SPOR KULÜBÜ's Dinçer Çavas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Engin Okman in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Tolga Eslem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerrahpasa's supporters rose to their feet, but Tolga Eslem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dinçer Çavas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th match minute, ÇILGIN SİVAS SPOR KULÜBÜ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yakup Aksakal to maneuver through the defense. Engin Okman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kutlualp Balatekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Vedat Ruknettin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Engin Okman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tolga Eslem's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Dinçer Çavas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mustafa Necati Oyman took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dinçer Çavas. Dinçer Çavas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 80 minutes into the match, Cerrahpasa's goal looked a bit too open when Kutlualp Balatekin came free, but Vedat Ruknettin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tolga Eslem got free with Dinçer Çavas in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
