Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. When Savaş Merdan fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mersin's protests and gave Savaş Merdan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Dörtyol booed when Mersin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Savaş Merdan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hakkı Deniz Erdemalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ferman Şah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Dörtyol's zone, Samet Akarslan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demiralp Tanfer came out of the goal and Samet Akarslan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atalan Yamaner's late challenge caught a Mersin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atalan Yamaner helped the player get up and apologised. Atalan Yamaner hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cabbar Bircan in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demiralp Tanfer saved Dörtyol from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Talip Torel hit a great ball. Hasan Can Subutay was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ataman Oğuztüzün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferman Şah having to interfere. Ataman Oğuztüzün received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ferman Şah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ataman Oğuztüzün had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Ataman Oğuztüzün managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dörtyol's supporters rose to their feet, but Ataman Oğuztüzün was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferman Şah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hakkı Deniz Erdemalp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferman Şah having to make a save. Ferman Şah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hakkı Deniz Erdemalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Hakkı Deniz Erdemalp put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ferman Şah. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Dörtyol had played much better football throughout.
