Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alican Zati started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute Kutlu Akçasu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reha Vezir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berker Rıza Makbul could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Denizhan Hatemoğlu made a huge save. After having played for 9 minutes, Kutlu Akçasu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ÜNYE SPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kutlu Akçasu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enver Kayrar in the 11th minute of play forced Ayazpasa's goalkeeper Reha Vezir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enver Kayrar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Ayazpasa defense, Enver Kayrar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reha Vezir. The Ayazpasa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reha Vezir should have stopped the shot. Kahraman İlkutay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Denizhan Hatemoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, ÜNYE SPOR's Enver Kayrar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reha Vezir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ayazpasa's zone, Kutlu Akçasu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reha Vezir came out of the goal and Kutlu Akçasu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the ÜNYE SPOR defense, Berker Rıza Makbul kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denizhan Hatemoğlu. The ÜNYE SPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denizhan Hatemoğlu should have stopped the shot. Savaşer Kapkin's late challenge caught a ÜNYE SPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Savaşer Kapkin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Savaşer Kapkin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39th play minutes Kutlu Akçasu shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Reha Vezir and just under the crossbar into goal. Kutlu Akçasu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reha Vezir having to interfere. After the first half ÜNYE SPOR were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kutlu Akçasu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind ÜNYE SPOR's goalkeeper Denizhan Hatemoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 52 minutes into the match, Ayberk Harmandalı had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denizhan Hatemoğlu. ÜNYE SPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ayberk Harmandalı was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 56th minute, Pascual Txema hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute of the match Hazar Suphi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Denizhan Hatemoğlu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 60th minute Lertxun Belber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reha Vezir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ÜNYE SPOR's Kutlu Akçasu got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erdoğan Seyran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reha Vezir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Enver Kayrar in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Reha Vezir, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 78th minute Kutlu Akçasu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reha Vezir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ÜNYE SPOR's Denizhan Hatemoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alican Zati in the 86th minute of play. If Tanju Çolak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the ÜNYE SPOR players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
