Hayrettin Ünsal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atak Bilginer having to interfere. Beyoglu's Arif Egemen Necati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cenan Semim in the 19th minute of play. Atak Bilginer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ufuk Serhun in the 24th minute of play. If Samim Ergönül had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26thth minute of the game Samim Ergönül who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boztepe FK's Atak Bilginer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Aybek Cesur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atak Bilginer was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Atak Bilginer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aybek Cesur in the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Boztepe FK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Bektaş Ali Erengüç hit a great ball. Atak Bilginer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aybek Cesur, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Ufuk Serhun sped through Boztepe FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Atak Bilginer. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Cenan Semim made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Beyoglu's Samim Ergönül got a free kick in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mirkelam Tümenbay in the 52nd minute of play forced Beyoglu's goalkeeper Arif Egemen Necati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 53 played minutes Boztepe FK got a freekick which was hit by Cenan Semim. Aybek Cesur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Atak Bilginer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ufuk Serhun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. In the 83rd minute Mirkelam Tümenbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Egemen Necati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samim Ergönül recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Samim Ergönül came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Beyoglu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samim Ergönül couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Aybek Cesur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Boztepe FK's Atak Bilginer got control of the ball when Aybek Cesur tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Beyoglu could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Boztepe FK throughout the match.
