Spectators: 7286 (Terracing: 5467, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yasin Tuncer started the match with the kick off. Yasin Tuncer struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Talat Fırat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kastamonu Spor. Yasin Tuncer scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Talat Fırat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Darende's Talat Fırat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azim Şaki in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azim Şaki in the 19th minute of play forced Darende's goalkeeper Talat Fırat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Erhun Sağanalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yasin Tuncer in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Talat Fırat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Kastamonu Spor's Kayhan Yesar got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 26th minute of the match, Halit Tümen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yavuz Selim Cumhur was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Talat Fırat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yasin Tuncer in the 29th minute of the match. If Azim Şaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Azim Şaki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Talat Fırat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yasin Tuncer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Azim Şaki sped through Darende's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Talat Fırat. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Yasin Tuncer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kastamonu Spor's supporters rose to their feet, but Yasin Tuncer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Talat Fırat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Darende's Erhun Sağanalp got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute, Yasin Tuncer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kastamonu Spor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After the first half Kastamonu Spor were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yasin Aşık to make the kick off. Kastamonu Spor's Yasin Tuncer got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Darende getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Tayyar Tekgül hit a great ball. Kastamonu Spor's Azim Şaki got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yavuz Selim Cumhur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yasin Aşık in the 61st minute of play. When Azim Şaki came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Kastamonu Spor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Azim Şaki couldn't finish the play. Azim Şaki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, Yasin Tuncer fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 72 played minutes Darende got a freekick which was hit by Erhun Sağanalp. In the 73rd minute, Erhun Sağanalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 minutes of play Darende's Erhun Sağanalp was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 77th match minute, Darende was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erhun Sağanalp to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Necmettin Deryace from long distance, 78 minutes into the match, got Talat Fırat's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Darende's Halit Tümen got a free kick in the 79th minute. Talat Fırat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yasin Tuncer in the 80th minute of play. Yasin Tuncer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Talat Fırat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Azim Şaki might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Talat Fırat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Azim Şaki ran back to his position shaking his head.
