Ali Güralp Baray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Darende's goalkeeper Talat Fırat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Müjdat Bengialp. In the 22nd minute, Erenay Kıvanç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hüsnü Ulum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Talat Fırat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Halit Tümen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Sakaryaspor Spor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Yasin Aşık came free, but Raik Dikici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüsnü Ulum in the 29th minute of play forced Darende's goalkeeper Talat Fırat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Darende's Talat Fırat got control of the ball when Ali Güralp Baray tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ali Güralp Baray took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Talat Fırat. Talat Fırat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Hüsnü Ulum came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Sakaryaspor Spor Kulübü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hüsnü Ulum couldn't finish the play. Darende's Talat Fırat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüsnü Ulum in the 40th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Darende fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yasin Aşık was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Ali Güralp Baray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Talat Fırat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hüsnü Ulum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Talat Fırat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Güralp Baray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Halit Tümen took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raik Dikici. Raik Dikici dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of Sakaryaspor Spor Kulübü booed when Darende was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veysel Uluşahin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baran Bilge Tarhan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Talat Fırat. Darende's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ali Güralp Baray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Talat Fırat having to interfere. Hüsnü Ulum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Darende getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Tayyar Tekgül hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Yasin Aşık kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raik Dikici. That made the score 1-2 in the 78 minute of play. Ali Güralp Baray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Talat Fırat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Güralp Baray in the 88th minute of the match. Talat Fırat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hüsnü Ulum's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Darende were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Sakaryaspor Spor Kulübü's much stronger midfield.
