Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Refik Halit İltemir who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Mehmet Fatih Şemsi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sinop's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Levent Usalp in the 8th minute. The corner led Sinop's Levent Usalp to fire away a dangerous shot which Mehmet Fatih Şemsi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yavuz Selimhan Adıgün in the 9th minute of play forced Ilic's goalkeeper Mehmet Fatih Şemsi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Yavuz Selimhan Adıgün fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mehmet Fatih Şemsi, passed just outside the right post. In the 13th minute of the match Baysal Sökmener sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mehmet Fatih Şemsi skillfully saved the ball. After 14 minutes, Temel Onsal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ilic and the Sinop players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Ilic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Temel Onsal to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ilic's Ruhi Semi got a free kick in the 16th minute. Suphi Ersunal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tekin Hisarcık having to interfere. Ceyhan Bican recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Suphi Ersunal scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tekin Hisarcık, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Refik Halit İltemir during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ilic booed when Sinop was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Refik Halit İltemir didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Sinop's Yavuz Selimhan Adıgün dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. During the 37th minute of the match Refik Halit İltemir completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Refik Halit İltemir a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 37th minute, Refik Halit İltemir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Suphi Ersunal took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tekin Hisarcık. Tekin Hisarcık dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vahit Hafız stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sinop's Baysal Sökmener got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Talat Ecemiş came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Ilic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Talat Ecemiş couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd minute, Yavuz Selimhan Adıgün hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yavuz Selimhan Adıgün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Fatih Şemsi having to interfere. If Suphi Ersunal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tekin Hisarcık took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vahit Hafız, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Saadettin Uçur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Suphi Ersunal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Tekin Hisarcık skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Haşim Özbilek during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sinop! Talat Ecemiş placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a rather tough play, Ilic's Temel Onsal got a free kick in the 78th minute. Ceyhan Bican fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Fatih Şemsi having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Sinop got a freekick which was hit by Levent Usalp. Sinop's Tekin Hisarcık proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Sinop from getting a goal against them. Adil Mürsel charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adil Mürsel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ilic getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Adil Mürsel hit a great ball. Suphi Ersunal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Tekin Hisarcık tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilic's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
