Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bahcekapi's Ferhan Yetişbey started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Şerif Demir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Ziya Akdal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Bahcekapi's Ahmet Ziya Akdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Cebeci in the 12th minute of play. Faruk Hürmetli hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Nihat Turan's late challenge caught a Ürgüp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nihat Turan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bahcekapi's Nihat Turan got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Şerif Demir came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Ürgüp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şerif Demir couldn't finish the play. Bahcekapi's Ferhan Yetişbey saw an opening behind the goalie Serter Özkaya in the 25thth minute and tried to shoot past into the top right corner, but with great reflexes Serter Özkaya with one arm managed to save the shot in the last secound. Serter Özkaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferhan Yetişbey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ahmet Göktuğ Ünal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ferhan Yetişbey fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bahcekapi's protests and gave Ferhan Yetişbey a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Cebeci in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Ziya Akdal saved Bahcekapi from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Cebeci to make the kick off. Baybars İlseven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Serter Özkaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serter Özkaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferhan Yetişbey in the 56th minute of play. Ferhan Yetişbey might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serter Özkaya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferhan Yetişbey ran back to his position shaking his head. Serter Özkaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferhan Yetişbey in the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ürgüp's Edip Aydıntan got a free kick in the 60th minute. Ahmet Göktuğ Ünal struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Serter Özkaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bahcekapi. Şerif Demir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Ziya Akdal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Serter Özkaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferhan Yetişbey in the 74th minute of the match. Edip Aydıntan hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Ahmet Göktuğ Ünal struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Şerif Demirs short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Ahmet Ziya Akdal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice moves Şerif Demir could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Ahmet Ziya Akdal however easily saved by the left post.
