The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Özmen Talut kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gazi Hacılar. That made the score 2-0 in the 8 minute of play. If Özmen Talut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sezer Elmastaş got free with Gazi Hacılar in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, TatlarinGüneşGençlik SK's goal looked a bit too open when Abdi Ferhat came free, but Gazi Hacılar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Vecdet Kumanbay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
