Yenikapi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vacid Oytunç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baybora Kayrar acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sungur Sözer. Foca SK's Baybora Kayrar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Foca SK from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute, Cihat Settar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the game, Yenikapi's Vacid Oytunç nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The Yenikapi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Vacid Oytunç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baybora Kayrar having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Yenikapi players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
