Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Öztürk Ekşioğlu made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Coşkun Yalavaç managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yenikapi's supporters rose to their feet, but Coşkun Yalavaç was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Varol Yay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vacid Oytunç in the 5th minute of play forced Doganhisar's goalkeeper Varol Yay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Varol Yay came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Yenikapi's Öztürk Ekşioğlu. But to his dismay, Öztürk Ekşioğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Karhan Okman kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Varol Yay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Öztürk Ekşioğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Yenikapi's goalkeeper Efekan Koçaş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kudret Tandan. When Nejat Alp İhtişam fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Doganhisar's protests and gave Nejat Alp İhtişam a yellow card for diving instead. Nejat Alp İhtişam hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Doganhisar defense, Vacid Oytunç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Varol Yay. The Doganhisar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Varol Yay should have stopped the shot. After 38 minutes of play, Yenikapi's Coşkun Yalavaç made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Varol Yay was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vacid Oytunç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Varol Yay having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Vacid Oytunç notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Doganhisar's Varol Yay. Varol Yay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Varol Yay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vacid Oytunç in the 52nd minute. Vacid Oytunç struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Varol Yay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yenikapi. Doganhisar's Varol Yay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Doganhisar from getting a goal against them. If Coşkun Yalavaç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th match minute, Doganhisar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karhan Okman to maneuver through the defense. Varol Yay made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Vacid Oytunç sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Doganhisar getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Karhan Okman hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Vacid Oytunç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulvi Akoğlu in the 74th minute of play forced Yenikapi's goalkeeper Efekan Koçaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Yenikapi's goal looked a bit too open when Kudret Tandan came free, but Efekan Koçaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vacid Oytunç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vacid Oytunç's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Varol Yay skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vacid Oytunç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Varol Yay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Yenikapi could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Doganhisar throughout the match.
