A collision led to Gülnar SK getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Aykan Kökten hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Sarp Önateş sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gülnar SK's Saadettin İltan didn't even have to move. 21 minutes into the match, Bayramören's goal looked a bit too open when Ömer Rıza Mehdi came free, but Onuralp Hürmetli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Necat Suay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Ömer Rıza Mehdi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Onuralp Hürmetli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Ömer Rıza Mehdi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gülnar SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ömer Rıza Mehdi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Onuralp Hürmetli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ömer Rıza Mehdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onuralp Hürmetli having to interfere. Ömer Rıza Mehdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Özgür Özgurcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Onuralp Hürmetli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömer Rıza Mehdi in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Özgür Özgurcan to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Özgür Özgurcan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Onuralp Hürmetli. That made the score 0-2 in the 51 minute of play. Hilmi Tezer's late challenge caught a Gülnar SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hilmi Tezer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute Lefter Oğuzata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saadettin İltan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gülnar SK's Saadettin İltan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necat Suay in the 64th minute of play. Aykan Kökten hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Lefter Oğuzata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Saadettin İltan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Gülnar SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alpay Oğuztüzün to maneuver through the defense. Özgür Özgurcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onuralp Hürmetli having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gülnar SK's Erenay Tuğbay got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Gülnar SK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
