The corner led Kandira FK's Kasım Erçelik to fire away a dangerous shot which Saadettin İltan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mesut Kuntay charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mesut Kuntay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Batu Öge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saadettin İltan having to interfere. Kandira FK's Ramazan Denizer got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 97 minutes, Celalettin Ongul made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Gülnar SK's Saadettin İltan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kandira FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
