Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Baybars Şennur got the match started through his kick off. Saadettin İltan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Faruk Orkan in the 5th minute of play. Dorukhan Onural hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Gülnar SK's Saadettin İltan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baybars Şennur in the 21st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Özgür Özgurcan in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aykan Savtur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Gülnar SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EkMeK Spor the free kick. Saadettin İltan went to the wrong direction when Nihat Şabi was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal.
