Ali Macit Taceddin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baybars Oncel, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Torbali's goalkeeper Ali Macit Taceddin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Savaşer Vakkasoğlu. The supporters of Cine booed when Torbali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tamer Metin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Cine's Savaşer Vakkasoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Macit Taceddin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Savaşer Vakkasoğlu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tamer Metin struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Ömer Rıza Önen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torbali. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kamer Erbay to strike the kick off in the second half.
