Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Baybars Oncel started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Akkus's zone, Baybars Oncel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osman Nuri Yersel came out of the goal and Baybars Oncel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Soner Kutlay came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Akkus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Soner Kutlay couldn't finish the play. Coşkun Esentürk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ömer Rıza Önen having to make a save. Soner Kutlay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ömer Rıza Önen having to interfere. Baybars Oncel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Coşkun Esentürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Meriç Karanalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Coşkun Esentürk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Şerif Cespan's late challenge caught a Akkus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şerif Cespan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Akkus booed when Cine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şerif Cespan didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Coşkun Esentürk made the kick off in the second half. Ömer Rıza Önen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Soner Kutlay in the 54th minute of play. Baybars Oncel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Osman Nuri Yersel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Savaşer Vakkasoğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osman Nuri Yersel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Savaşer Vakkasoğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute of the match Ahmet Erdem Üstek sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osman Nuri Yersel skillfully saved the ball. Utkan Akbey kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Osman Nuri Yersel was a little too slow when Baybars Oncel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Coşkun Esentürk in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ömer Rıza Önen saved Cine from getting behind. Barbaros Derem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ömer Rıza Önen having to interfere. Baybars Oncel might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osman Nuri Yersel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baybars Oncel ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soner Kutlay in the 83rd minute of play forced Cine's goalkeeper Ömer Rıza Önen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Coşkun Esentürk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ömer Rıza Önen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. The referee gave Şerif Cespan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 97th minute of the match Şahin Bayram shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ömer Rıza Önen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Akkus were awarded a corner in the 99th minute after Cine's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Şahin Bayram took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Şahin Bayram got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ömer Rıza Önen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 100 played minutes, Akkus's Arkın Bakırcıoğlu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ömer Rıza Önen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Akkus reached it. Cine's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
