In the 4th minute, Bozdogan's Aybars Kuluk dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Bozdogan's goal looked a bit too open when Devlet Atasagun came free, but Kılıç Öztürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ahmet Göktuğ Nazmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bozdogan's Kılıç Öztürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devlet Atasagun in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aybars Kuluk in the 13th minute of play forced tatvansk's goalkeeper Şerif Kuddusi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Devlet Atasagun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kılıç Öztürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Orhan Veli Şükür was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bozdogan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave tatvansk the free kick. The supporters of tatvansk booed when Bozdogan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orhan Veli Şükür didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bozdogan's zone, Devlet Atasagun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kılıç Öztürk came out of the goal and Devlet Atasagun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kılıç Öztürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Göktuğ Nazmi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ahmet Göktuğ Nazmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 29 minutes, Devlet Atasagun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. tatvansk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Devlet Atasagun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kılıç Öztürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Göktuğ Nazmi in the 31st minute of play. Kılıç Öztürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Devlet Atasagun in the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Ahmet Göktuğ Nazmi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bozdogan's Kılıç Öztürk. Kılıç Öztürk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 41 played minutes Aybars Kuluk rounded tatvansk's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aybars Kuluk made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, tatvansk's goal looked a bit too open when Aybars Kuluk came free, but Şerif Kuddusi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kılıç Öztürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Devlet Atasagun in the 54th minute of the match. If Ceyhun Akbey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Devlet Atasagun got free with Kılıç Öztürk in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Devlet Atasagun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kılıç Öztürk having to interfere. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bozdogan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Atıf Nurtekin was slow to take the kick. During this time tatvansk's players had a chance to rest. The corner led tatvansk's Veli Cevher to fire away a dangerous shot which Kılıç Öztürk despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 76th match minute, tatvansk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atıf Nurtekin to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, tatvansk's goal looked a bit too open when Aybars Kuluk came free, but Şerif Kuddusi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to tatvansk getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Veli Cevher hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Bozdogan's goalkeeper Kılıç Öztürk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Göktuğ Nazmi. For all the effort they put into the match, the tatvansk players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bozdogan.
