Aşır Mukbil was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Yildirim's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Mehmet Oğuz Yamaç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Tolgahan Ulusan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Ozan Vecihi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necati Sazak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Yildirim got a freekick which was hit by Tibet Açıkgün. If Ahmet Erdem Kadir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bafra's Rafettin Orgunalp got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Bafra booed when Yildirim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaser Lemi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Berat Ülgü kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehmet Oğuz Yamaç got free with Tolgahan Ulusan in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ozan Vecihi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necati Sazak having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Rafettin Orgunalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bafra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafettin Orgunalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tolgahan Ulusan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehmet Oğuz Yamaç in the 44th minute. Ozan Vecihi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Necati Sazak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Ozan Vecihi made the kick off in the second half. Rafettin Orgunalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Yildirim booed when Bafra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yavuz Bülent Özben didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yildirim's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yaser Lemi in the 60th minute. Yaser Lemi made a great header on Yildirim's corner, it was just that Bafra's Tolgahan Ulusan managed to reach the ball for a save. After 62 played minutes, Yildirim's Abdulmelik Şahtürk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tolgahan Ulusan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Aşır Mukbil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolgahan Ulusan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aşır Mukbil in the 75th minute of play forced Bafra's goalkeeper Tolgahan Ulusan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Aşır Mukbil sped through Bafra's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tolgahan Ulusan. Necati Sazak was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Ozan Vecihi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ozan Vecihi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 88th minute Aşır Mukbil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolgahan Ulusan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Ozan Vecihi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Necati Sazak. The goal made the score 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
