The Yildirim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Necati Sazak should have stopped the shot. Esat Rafettin kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Yildirim's Aşır Mukbil got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute Esat Yanıker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necati Sazak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Behzat Adıvar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Yildirim's Yaser Lemi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Yaser Lemi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Yildirim protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Yaser Lemi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yildirim fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! In the 19th minute there was a penalty for GENÇ ÇOTANAKLAR. Kudret Sanak stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Necati Sazak. 0-2. If Behzat Adıvar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The audience was convinced that Esat Yanıker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Necati Sazak was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mürsel Çol, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Esat Yanıker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esat Yanıker was the one to do the kick off. Mehmet Oğuz Yamaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute Mansur Batırhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mürsel Çol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Oğuz Yamaç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mürsel Çol having to interfere. Mehmet Oğuz Yamaç's late challenge caught a GENÇ ÇOTANAKLAR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mehmet Oğuz Yamaç helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Yildirim getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Mehmet Oğuz Yamaç hit a great ball. If Mehmet Oğuz Yamaç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 played minutes GENÇ ÇOTANAKLAR got a freekick which was hit by Esat Rafettin. In the 91stth minute of the game Mehmet Oğuz Yamaç who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GENÇ ÇOTANAKLAR's Mürsel Çol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mehmet Oğuz Yamaç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mürsel Çol having to interfere. In the 96th minute Hakkı Deniz Erel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mürsel Çol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Yildirim lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
