With a couple of smart ball manuevers Çetin Ağırtaş in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şehzade Akbayrak saved Iustitiae Custodes from getting behind. In the 15th minute Kuddusî Cangun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şehzade Akbayrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şehzade Akbayrak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Çetin Ağırtaş went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Şehzade Akbayrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çetin Ağırtaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çetin Ağırtaş in the 35th minute of play forced Iustitiae Custodes's goalkeeper Şehzade Akbayrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kuddusî Cangun came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Cumaova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kuddusî Cangun couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Cumaova's Özal Vahap got control of the ball when Abdulhamit Mahsun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Turabi Ülkem was the one to do the kick off. Ahmet Korkut Yavuzcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Şehzade Akbayrak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Iustitiae Custodes's Rüştü Tuğaltan got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Kuddusî Cangun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Çetin Ağırtaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kuddusî Cangun might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Şehzade Akbayrak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kuddusî Cangun ran back to his position shaking his head. Cumaova's Çetin Ağırtaş got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ahmet Korkut Yavuzcan came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Cumaova fans jumped to their feet. When Rüştü Tuğaltan fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iustitiae Custodes's protests and gave Rüştü Tuğaltan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cumaova booed when Iustitiae Custodes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rüştü Tuğaltan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Çetin Ağırtaş's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Şehzade Akbayrak firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Çetin Ağırtaş got free with Şehzade Akbayrak in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kuddusî Cangun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Özal Vahap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdulhamit Mahsun in the 93rd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Şehzade Akbayrak successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mehmet Fatih Mehmet charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mehmet Fatih Mehmet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kuddusî Cangun in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şehzade Akbayrak saved Iustitiae Custodes from getting behind.
