In the 6th minute İsmail Cem Ilımlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necdet Akça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, İsmail Cem Ilımlı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sokuspor's supporters rose to their feet, but İsmail Cem Ilımlı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Necdet Akça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tunç Özaktuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halil Uğursal in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Sokuspor's goal looked a bit too open when Abdulhamit Tamkoç came free, but Tunç Özaktuğ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tunç Özaktuğ was a little too slow when Halil Uğursal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halil Uğursal in the 34th minute of play forced Sokuspor's goalkeeper Tunç Özaktuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mazgirt's Halil Uğursal got a free kick in the 36th minute. If İsmail Cem Ilımlı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sokuspor getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Saip İlbaşı hit a great ball. Tunç Özaktuğ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdulhamit Tamkoç in the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Mazgirt's goal looked a bit too open when İsmail Cem Ilımlı came free, but Necdet Akça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for İsmail Cem Ilımlı to strike the kick off in the second half. Sokuspor's İsmail Cem Ilımlı got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 62 minutes of play, Sokuspor's Boran Sertaç made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Necdet Akça was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ertunç Turhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necdet Akça having to interfere. Boran Sertaç could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Necdet Akça made a huge save. Tunç Özaktuğ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasım Yenisey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Anıl Ege Uğursoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tunç Özaktuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite being the better team, Mazgirt failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
