In the 10th minute, Karakocan's Kunter Yalınalp ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gökcan Ceyhan. Gökcan Ceyhan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. A collision led to Besikdüzü SK getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Atıf Kutlug hit a great ball. Gökcan Ceyhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tayyip Battal in the 15th minute. Tayyip Battal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orhan Seyfi Soysaldı's late challenge caught a Karakocan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orhan Seyfi Soysaldı helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th match minute, Besikdüzü SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orhan Seyfi Soysaldı to maneuver through the defense. Şinasi Işılay might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gökcan Ceyhan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Şinasi Işılay ran back to his position shaking his head. Çelikan Coşans short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Bünyamin Ünal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Şinasi Işılay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Şinasi Işılay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gökcan Ceyhan. Besikdüzü SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Şinasi Işılay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After some careless play in the Besikdüzü SK defense, Şinasi Işılay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gökcan Ceyhan. The Besikdüzü SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gökcan Ceyhan should have stopped the shot. Tayyip Battal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute.
