Remzi Salik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet İlke Zeynel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Turgut Nedret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Devrek's Ahmet İlke Zeynel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Devrek from getting a goal against them. Güney Ak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cemil Hamurcu. KUZEYCE FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cemil Hamurcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ergin Baydak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th match minute, Devrek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feyyaz Esenboğa to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Hilmi Başhekim made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet İlke Zeynel. Devrek's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 22 played minutes Devrek got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Peyam. When Ahmet Peyam fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Devrek's protests and gave Ahmet Peyam a yellow card for diving instead. Ahmet Peyam kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Turgut Nedret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet İlke Zeynel having to interfere. In the 31st minute Aktan Neba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cemil Hamurcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cemil Hamurcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ergin Baydak in the 32nd minute of the match. When Arın Ulucağ fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Devrek's protests and gave Arın Ulucağ a yellow card for diving instead. Ahmet İlke Zeynel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arif Ensar Uluer's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Gökalp Zağanos got free with Ahmet İlke Zeynel in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Devrek's zone, Turgut Nedret stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet İlke Zeynel came out of the goal and Turgut Nedret tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Efe Sezginay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ahmet İlke Zeynel made a huge save. If Arif Ensar Uluer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Peyam hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Remzi Salik made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aktan Neba got free with Cemil Hamurcu in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ahmet İlke Zeynel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Turgut Nedret in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Turgut Nedret made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet İlke Zeynel. Devrek's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After some careless play in the Devrek defense, Turgut Nedret kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet İlke Zeynel. The Devrek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet İlke Zeynel should have stopped the shot. Arif Ensar Uluer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ergin Baydak in the 68th minute of play forced KUZEYCE FK's goalkeeper Cemil Hamurcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ünsal Neyzen fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KUZEYCE FK's protests and gave Ünsal Neyzen a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to KUZEYCE FK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ergin Baydak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ünsal Neyzen kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Cemil Hamurcu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aktan Neba in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Turgut Nedret ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet İlke Zeynel was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 88th minute, KUZEYCE FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aktan Neba fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Turgut Nedret recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Peyam got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. KUZEYCE FK fully deserved thier win.
